Reminder: Next Meeting is Monday, Feb 7!

Just a quick reminder that our next meeting will be Monday, February 7. Hopefully all the bad weather will be OUT OF HERE so we can actually meet! Don't forget to bring your completed cards (see the previous post for details) and anything else you've been working on for the past few weeks.

I'll be filling in for our fearless leader Diane who will be off to sunny and WARM Hawaii! See you then.

Wow, the weather has been unfriendly for us this month!

Dawn and Kellie are giving everyone a box of 35 Cards and Envelopes and are asking for our help! They would like each of us to decorate 3 of these cards to put on display. If you can, please stop by the store to pick up your box. They are asking that we return the cards at our next Girls Night Out on February 7. Plus, we will have a little contest for the following categories:

1. Most Creative Birthday card
2. Most Creative Easter card
3. Most Creative Friend card

Can you believe RaNae is in Hawaii and having a great time from the
looks of it!! She sent these pictures and wanted to share with all of
us Girls Night Out'ters.
I bet it's going to be tough to come back to Iowa after being on a
warm beach!

Pot Luck Supper and
Christmas Embellishment Exchange.
Memory Bound will be providing meat, drinks, plates, napkins and goody
bags. Please bring a salad, chips, appetizer or dessert to share. (approximately 10 people)
We will have a Christmas embellishment exchange. Fill a sandwich bag
with embellishments (please gift wrap them) and we will have a game
to play for exchanging them.

November 8 is fast approaching!

We are having a Christmas gift tag exchange.

If you want to participate in this, please bring 14 of the same tag.

It was suggested to use a new technique that you haven't used before.

(No, this photo is not recent, taken January 2010, but we all know, it's on its way...)
Just a reminder, in December 13 we'll be having a potluck.
We are going to have a potluck supper.
Meat and drinks will be provided.
Everyone else can bring whatever you wish - salad, dessert, appetizer.
We are going to have an embellishment grab bag. Please gift wrap them.
